On June 30,2019 at a called congregational meeting we decided to stop Sunday Worship effective
July 28, 2019. This is not a sudden decision for us as we had discussed this over the last year in congregational discussions. We have been nurturing a new ministry out reach the the last four years called Way Collective. It is doing quite well with Pastor Tim leading. It far out reaches the Sunday services in numbers attending. It also has a wider appeal as it's members include small children and adults of many different ages.
After much discussion and many prayers, we believe God is calling us to step out in faith, to use our resources to nurture this new outreach. This was not a step we took lightly. After 131 years in Santa Barbara ministry, it was a hard decision to make. We still continue to have monthly meetings and annual congregational meetings. Please join us in our new ministry at waycollective.org
